Moorways to reopen for training Tuesday 30 March 2021
Hello everyone and the club committee hopes you are all staying safe and well.
We are delighted that Moorways Stadium is set to reopen for regular club members to train from Tuesday 30 March 2021. Many thanks for your patience while the track has been closed.
Initial sessions will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Training, including session times, is only through agreement with your coach, as group sizes initially need to be limited. Please do not turn up at the track without liaising with your coach.
To train at Moorways as a DAC athlete, you need to have paid your annual fee or (at least) have submitted your membership form. http://derbyathletic.club/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/DerbyAC-Renewal-Form-2020-GG-1.docx This is to ensure we have full details of who is at the track, to comply with COVID-19 rules.
If you want to train, please liaise with your coach to arrange a session. If you are a senior athlete who does not have a regular coach, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
A one-way system will be in operation at Moorways.
Athletes will need to sign in with their coach on arrival, and maintain social distancing and good hand hygiene.
Please do not come to Moorways if you or anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 or has any of the main symptoms of COVID-19:
- A continuous cough
- Loss of taste or smell
