Derbyshire County Championships
This weekend (11 and 12 May) Moorways Stadium is staging the annual Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire County Championships. Lots of our athletes will be taking part, so if that’s you, please remember:
- The event is by pre-entry only. If you have not already entered your events, please do not turn up on the day to take part
- Athletes should have received information about timetable and other details relating to registration and parking. If you have not been emailed this information, please check your spam folder. Weekend timetable is linked here and the athlete information is here
- Please make sure you register on time for your events:
- Field athletes should report to their event 30 minutes before the timetabled start time
- Track athletes must register in the DAC clubhouse at least an hour before their events – and must do this on both days, if they are competing both days. Every year some athletes do not do this and are not allowed to compete, so please do not be that person
- Events will start at the time detailed on the timetable, unless there are delays due to circumstances outside the officials’ control. Please report to your track event at least 10 minutes before the specified start time
- If you are unsure about anything, please ask an official and they will be glad to help
U15 and U17 athletes may be selected for events at the CAU Inter County Match on Monday 27 May in Blackpool. Letters will be issued to relevant medallists at the awards stand. Responses will be required by midnight on Sunday (12 May).
