Derbyshire MiniLeague Sportshall events run at Queen’s Park Leisure Centre on Boythorpe Road, Chesterfield, throughout the autumn and winter. The events are an ideal introduction to competing; more experienced athletes are also welcome to compete for the club. Events start at 1pm – please be at the venue for about 12.30pm – and finish around 3.30pm. They are ideal for U11, U13 and U15 athletes, with a relaxed atmosphere and space for any DAC athlete who wants to compete. The programme varies over the sportshall season, and will include sprints, longer races and relays, along with field events including shot put/chest press, speed bounce, hi-stepper, vertical high jump and standing long and triple jump.
