Success for Kevin as he competes in his first England vest

DAC U17 athlete Kevin Masukume built on his English Schools success with his first national vest when he competed for England at the SIAB International meeting in Grangemouth, Scotland.

In a very competitive long jump competition Kevin managed to achieve a best jump of 6.83m to finish in fourth place. That 6.83 marker is just 12cm off his PB of 6.95, which he had set when gaining silver at English Schools in Birmingham in June – the event which saw him qualify for the SIAB meeting.

Massive well done to Kevin, who has continued to turn out for DAC in YDL UAG meetings this summer, alongside completing his GCSE exams.
